Designed for Canon-RF mount cameras, this fast manual focus lens adds a nostalgic touch to images at a classic focal length. An aperture de-click switch on the barrel next to the aperture control ring allows users to seamlessly switch between smooth and clicky operation, making this prime well suited for both videography and photography.
The Simera 35mm F/1.4 features an aspherical element and three high refractive index elements to reduce colour aberration and improve image quality. Thanks to the ability to capture images with a bright aperture of F/1.4, you are assured of high-quality images even in adverse lighting conditions. The lens's 14-blade aperture creates a circular bokeh that gives the subject a soft and pleasant frame, which is especially useful for portraits.
When capturing subjects up close, a minimum focus distance is 45 cm. When you set the setting to 70cm, you will feel a dampening to warn that the lens's focusing distance is about to exceed the limit of the camera body.
