Description
Big Tilt Lens Adapter Nikon F to MFT
The Big Tilt Lens Adapter Nikon F to MFT is a special adapter for Nikon F lenses on MTF (Micro Four Thirds) cameras. In addition to normal use, this allows an adjustable tilting movement up to a maximum of 8°. Thus, it is suitable for the mere function of using NIKON F lenses (AI, AIS, AF, AF-D original and third brand lenses, with aperture ring on the barrel; not G-series or lenses without an integrated aperture ring (these would only be working at full aperture)) on Micro Four Thirds cameras (mirrorless Olympus, Panasonic, BlackMagic etc.) giving old and less old lenses a new life on the other system, with the possibility of completely new functions. The tilting movement can be oriented up to 360° relative to the optical axis: you only need to apply a small circular pressure to the system, which will rotate in steps to the desired position, to tilt to the right or left, such as above or below.
The adapter has a built-in scale that indicates the degree of tilt; at 0 there is no tilt and the adapter behaves like a standard adapter. The tilting movement has the purpose of displacing the focal plane obliquely relative to the image plane. The effect is multiple, depending on your desire: it can help to focus subjects on different focal planes (which increases depth of field in certain areas, useful in selective focus techniques) or, at the same time, to selectively blur subjects on the same focal plane (e.g. miniature effect). The use of lenses with shorter or shorter focal lengths, as well as the weighted use of aperture, may or may not enhance the effect of the tilt. A useful and versatile accessory, fun and indispensable in certain situations, landscape, portraits with refined bokeh or selective blur, images of works of art or drawings that protrude obliquely, miniature shots, etc.
