Description
The Zoom H1n Handy Recorder in black is, like its predecessor, a user-friendly, versatile stereo digital audio recorder that fits in the palm of your hand. This latest version has some built-in functions that make it easier to handle. Where the Zoom H1 had a single record button on the front of the recorder and a whole series of buttons on the side for play/pause, rewind/fast forward and dive in menus, the H1n has buttons where you can easily see them: on the front from the recorder, so you can easily go from recording to pause and from stopping to navigating between songs, all with your thumb. There are also four buttons above the recording function that allow you to change the sampling frequency and resolution, apply a low-cut filter to mute noise, turn the built-in limiter on and off, and set auto-level, with which automatically boosting is set for you.
The H1n is suitable for musicians, journalists, podcasters and more, and incorporates WAV and MP3 files to meet your professional needs. The H1n has a stereo X/Y microphone configuration that establishes a realistic stereo image. The device records audio to microSD or microSDHC flash memory cards, with capacities up to 32 GB. The H1n records WAV audio at speeds up to 24-bit/96 kHz and MP3 audio with speeds up to 320 kbps. The pocket-sized device operates on two AAA batteries for up to 10 hours of continuous use.
With a 3.5 mm microphone/line input you can connect an external microphone or music player, while you can connect your favorite headphones or small external speakers with a 3.5 mm headphone/line output. With a high-speed USB 2.0 port, you can easily transfer data to your Mac or Windows computer. The device also functions as an audio interface, allowing you to record directly to your favorite DAW from the Zoom H1n.
