The CoreSWX PowerBase EDGE Small Form Cine V-Mount Battery Pack 49wh, 14.8v, includes PB70C15 charger & Sony L-series battery cable with recessed coupling. The Edge is the 'Swiss Army Knife' among battery packs. It can be used as a standard V-mount pack, an under-camera small-form cine pack, mounted under a handheld gimbal, as well as many other applications. The pack features a 7.4V port for most mirrorless camera power requirements, as well as two 5V USB outputs and two 14V Powertap outputs, covering almost all video production applications. Compared to small cine and mirrorless camera batteries, the Powerbase Edge can deliver up to 5x the power of those packs. The typical life of a Sony Alpha or Panasonic GH camera can exceed 8 hours, perfect for a full day of shooting. The Edge is equipped with a quick-release plate on the top (or back), useful for many applications. The quick-release plate has a 1/4"-20 thread for mounting under most cameras, and a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the opposite side for mounting on a tripod. In addition, the 1/4"-20 quick-release plate can be used to attach the pack to any part of the camera cage side with a 1/4"-20 thread.
The PowerBase Edge can be charged with all CoreSWX v-mount battery chargers, as well as with V-mount chargers from other manufacturers, such as Sony Red and IDX. In addition, the battery pack can be charged via the P-Tap with the PB70C15 charger. As with all CoreSWX batteries, there is an integrated P-Tap (Powertap/D-Tap) connector on the side of the battery so you can power a 12v device through this port, a feature CoreSWX has had since the first battery 17 years ago. CoreSWX knows how important mobile devices are to manufacturing, which is why it was one of the first companies to include a USB port in its packs, allowing you to charge your mobile devices.
