Description
Laowa Argus 45 mm f/0.95 FF Canon RF
This Laowa prime lens with a focal length of 45 mm makes it possible to shoot with an extremely limited depth of field. Thanks to the large aperture of f/0.95, characteristic of the Laowa Argus line, and 15 aperture blades, you can create beautiful bokeh and completely isolate your subject from the environment.
However, the Laowa Argus 45 mm is not a one trick pony. Even at a smaller aperture, the bokeh retains its unique and beautiful appearance, making the lens excellent for a variety of purposes. The 45 mm focal length offers a natural viewing angle of 51.3°, making it ideal for portrait or documentary photography, for example.
With the large maximum aperture of f/0.95, you can also work well in low-light conditions. In addition, it makes the prime lens a solid video lens for shooting images with a unique look due to the small depth of field. For videographers in particular, the lens is equipped with a switchable 'click' for the aperture setting, and focus breathing is minimised. Good to know, the focus ring is nicely damped and has a long focus throw for smooth focus pulls.
The Laowa Argus 45 mm f/0.95 FF is suitable for full-frame system cameras and is available with a Canon RF, Sony FE, and Nikon Z mount.
