Sealife SL052 Ultra-Wide-Angle Dome Lens for the Micro Series and RM4K
The Sealife SL052 ultra-wide-angle dome lens has been specially developed for the Micro series and ReefMaster RM-4K underwater cameras. It increases the camera's field of view by 43% and allows you to get three times closer to the subject.
The design of the Sealife SL052 ultra-wide-angle dome lens consists of high-quality optics consisting of 4 elements. The lens delivers sharp edge-to-edge sharpness. The internal elements are made of fully multi-coated optical glass. The dome lens is made of optical polycarbonate with a hard anti-scratch coating. The lens has an effective focal length of 13.3mm when used with the SeaLife Micro 3.0 and is waterproof to 60 meters.
The lens fits all SeaLife Micro series cameras (Micro HD, HD+, Micro 2.0, Micro 3.0) and also works with the SeaLife ReefMaster RM-4K, increasing the small camera's shooting angle to 196°. The Micro ultra-wide-angle dome lens increases the Micro 3.0 shooting angle by 43% to 143° (in air).
The Sealife SL052 ultra-wide-angle dome lens can be easily attached and removed underwater. A retaining ring prevents the lens from accidentally detaching when bumped or in rougher water. The lens weighs 331 grams and is negatively buoyant. A lanyard is included to prevent loss underwater and the lens can be attached to the Lens Caddy (SL091) when not in use.
The rotating lens hood prevents unwanted glare from external lighting or sunlight and protects the dome lens against impact and wear.
